Writer, proofreader, and language enthusiastic.

If you are here on this page, you don't want to know about my professional background, you want to know about me deep history. Well, I'm glad to share a fragment of it.

My passion for writing and curiosity about linguistics started in my adolescence and they influenced—and later defined—my career. By the age of 15, I was already standing out in the classroom with high-scoring essays. In Brazil, a test is required to gain acceptance into a university, and achieving a high score on the essay portion is essential. My writing skills definitely ensured my future admission into a university in Brazil.

At 18 years old, I decided to have a blog and write a collection of chronicles. My blog is on blogspot and it is called "Artista Inconsequente". Well, it is still there, but I don't on it anymore. I have decided to accept my adulthood and start posting on Medium or LinkedIn. However, I miss my blogging days.

Moreover, I also enrolled in an international university, Mount Saint Vincent University in Canada. It's not common for a Brazilian to speak other languages, let alone write in English. However, having good writing skills (and good speaking skills) has become rare, hasn't it? Well, I fell in love with many languages, but I decided that English would be the basis for my specializations. After enrolling in an English bachelor's degree with a specialization in writing, I fell in love with Germanic languages in general, and currently, I am learning Norwegian (Bokmål).

Between one university course and another, I specialized in courses and certifications in the field. As I worked as an English teacher for many years, I invested in several certifications, such as the Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test, which not only gave me a solid foundation for teaching but also licensed me to do so. After these certifications, preparatory classes to prepare students for international certifications, revisions of international tests, and the Canadian university, I finally discovered that in addition to loving to write, I also love to thoroughly and deeply revise texts.

About my nationality? Very interesting topic. I am a Brazilian woman from a part-Italian family who took refuge in Brazil during the First World War; and therefore, I have Italian citizenship. The other part is of Spanish descent, which I don't know much about other than having a beautiful share of Brazilian indigenous descent in it. My full name carries my three ancestries. Poetic, right?

Now, I live my days specializing in the field of writing and editing to improve my results and exceed expectations when hired. Not to mention that I am never going to stop learning new languages. Learning is never too much, and writing is my daily motivation.

“You can make anything by writing.”
